BGAMLI at the opening of the joint exhibition project «Ivan Akhremchik. Master. People. Epoch»

On December 22, 2023, employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art attended the opening ceremony of an exhibition dedicated to the work of People’s Artist of the BSSR Ivan Osipovich Akhremchik (1903–1971) at the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus.

A joint exhibition project of BGAMLI and the National Art Museum «Ivan Akhremchik. Master. People. Epoch» introduces visitors to the artist’s creative heritage.

Speakers at the event were the director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko; Deputy General Director for Scientific and Educational Work of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus Victoria Aleksandrovna Kuzmina; First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Union of Artists Natalya Vasilyevna Sharangovich; Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Vasilyevich Urodnich; Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Nikolai Afanasyevich Opiok; members of the family of Ivan Osipovich Akhremchik.

The exhibition presents materials and photographs from the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art and works from the funds of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus,
