Signing of a Memorandum between BGAKFFD and the State Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan

December 12 was the final day of the internship for representatives of the State Budgetary Institution «State Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan» at the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Audio Documents».

On the second day, intensive work on sharing experiences continued. Colleagues got acquainted with the conditions for ensuring the safety of documents, methods and approaches used in the digitization of audiovisual documents, the work of the automated information retrieval system BGAKFFD and talked with the developers and representatives of Information Technologies Media Group LLC.

As a sign of strengthening professional ties, at the end of the visit, a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation in the field of archival affairs was signed between the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Audio Documents» and the State Budgetary Institution «State Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan».

In conclusion, a license agreement was signed for the transfer of intellectual rights to the film plot «Dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Victory» from the film magazine «On the Broad Volga» (No.13, 1975) from the funds of the State Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan for subsequent use for scientific, practical and other purposes on an indefinite basis.
