Participation of employees of the National Archives in a gala event at OJSC «Agat – Electromechanical Plant»

November 30, 2023, on the eve of the 71st anniversary of the founding of JSC Agat – Electromechanical Plant, Deputy Director of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus (NARB) E.A. Stukanova and head of the publications department of NARB, Ph.D. S.V. Kulinok took part in the ceremonial event of the enterprise.

Speaking to the workforce, E.A. Stukanova noted the importance of preserving archival documents for an objective study of historical processes. She spoke in detail about the composition of NARB documents and focused on the main forms of their use.

S.V. Kulinok presented to those present the banner exhibition «We survived and won», and also gave a lecture on the partisan movement in the occupied territory of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War.

At the end of the event, E.A. Stukanova handed over to the head of the enterprise a copy of the popular science publication «Archives. Nothing but the truth» is a joint project of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and BelTA. Also, copies of documents for the plant’s employees who heroically fought in partisan detachments during the war were given to the plant’s museum.
