Excursion for students of the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No. 3 of Brest named after V.N. Veremeyuk» in the State Archive of the Brest Region

On November 14, 2023, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the State Archive of the Brest Region was visited by 11th grade students from the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No. 3 of Brest named after V.N.Veremeyuk».

The high school students were told about the history, main activities and composition of the archive documents, including the history of the Brest region during the Great Patriotic War.

During the sightseeing tour, the children learned about the conditions for storing documents in the archives, saw how documents are restored in the laboratory for the repair and restoration of archival documents, and also got acquainted with the exhibition «Brest Region: Pages of History».
