About conducting a lesson with an 8th grade student State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 43 of Mogilev”

As part of the republican action “Archives to School” and the pilot project “Young Archivist”, on November 1, 2023, on the basis of the institution“State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region”a lesson was held with an 8th grade student of the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 43 Mogilev.”

During the theoretical lesson, the student was familiarized with the work of the archive in acquiring the archives of an archival institution and with the sources of acquisition. During practical work, the student became familiar with the work procedures of users in the archive reading room, where he was able to feel like a researcher at an archival institution. Fund No. 6115 “Collection of documents of participants in the October Revolution, civil war, Great Patriotic War, socialist construction, Heroes of Socialist Labor of the Mogilev region” was presented for him. The student was also able to familiarize himself with periodicals and reference and information literature in the archive.
