On conducting an excursion to the State Institution «NIAB in Grodno» for 4th grade students of gymnasium No.10 in Grodno

On October 25, 2023, in the Year of Peace and Creation and as part of the republican action «Archives to School», a sightseeing tour was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno for 4th grade students of gymnasium No.10 in Grodno.

Using multimedia, schoolchildren were introduced to the history of the creation and specifics of the archive, the composition and storage mode of documents.

Visitors to the archive were also given a tour of the exhibition hall, scientific and reference library, archive storage, and elevator rooms.

The guys took a moment to look into the reading room of the archive, and also watched with interest and curiosity the process of restoration of originals in the laboratory for special processing of archival documents.
