Employees of the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region took part in the discussion of the draft Concept of National Security of the Republic of Belarus

National security is the basis of statehood. Without national security, neither the development of culture, nor the development of language, literature, nor the solution of social programs is possible. It is necessary, based on the enormous traditions and experience of predecessors, to create a national security system.

At the VI All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, Head of State A.G.Lukashenko instructed to modernize the Concept taking into account the current situation.

The scientific and expert community of our country, representatives of the National Academy of Sciences, the Academy of National Security, the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Studies, and the country’s leading universities were involved in the development of the new Concept.

On October 20, 2023, a dialogue platform was held at the main department of justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee to discuss the National Security Concept of the Republic of Belarus.

The main speakers were the head of the main justice department of the Vitebsk regional executive committee, Sergei Konopelko, and his deputy, the head of the compulsory enforcement department, Nikita Ryazapov.

The event was attended by employees of the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region.
