Excursions for students of the Belarusian National Technological University

October 6, 2023 in honor of Archivist Day and within the framework of the republican action «Archives for Schools», the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation and the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art together with Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of History of BNTU L.I.Moseychuk conducted two excursions for students of the Belarusian National Technological University.

The excursionists formed an idea of the history of the archive, its structure and areas of activity. During the excursion, students got acquainted with the poster photo exhibition «Belarusian architecture in faces», dedicated to three Belarusian architects – A.B.Markarian, Yu.V.Shpit, I.I.Bovtu.

In the department of information and use of documents, students became acquainted with design and construction documentation. We got acquainted with the documents of fund No. 10: the architectural project «National Library of Belarus» and «Polytechnic Institute named after. Stalin» in Minsk (now the main building of the Belarusian National Technical University) and with photographs illustrating the history of the construction of the street. Nemiga in Minsk.
