On conducting the first lesson with students of grades 9-11 of the State Educational Institution “Skrygalovskaya Secondary School of the Mozyr District”

As part of the cooperation agreement between the Institution “Zonal State Archives in Mozyr” and the State Educational Institution “Skrygalovskaya Secondary School of the Mozyr District” and within the framework of the “Archives to School” campaign, the pilot project “Young Archivist”, as well as on the eve of Archivist Day , On October 2, 2023, the first introductory lesson was held with students of grades 9 and 11 on the topic “Archive and its activities. Specifics of the work of an archivist.”

During the event, students became acquainted with the profession of “archivist”, with the history of the creation and main activities of the archive, with the composition of the stored funds, with the specifics of working with archival documents.

This event aroused great interest among students and also contributed to their awareness of the importance of preserving historical memory.
