On September 15, 2023, as part of the republican action «Archives for School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist», the first archival lesson was held for students of 10 «A» in the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno in order to familiarize themselves with the history of the creation of the archive and its functions. class of social and humanitarian orientation at school No. 28 in Grodno.

The first lesson was called «Archive – a repository of history.» It was conducted in the form of a lesson-excursion. Students were introduced to the basic definitions: archive, archivist and archival sources, as well as the history of the creation of the archive, its main functions in preserving documentary heritage.

A sightseeing tour of the archive was conducted.
