Thematic lesson «Baranovichi – the city in my heart»

On September 1, 2023, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the director of the Zonal State Archive in Baranovichi Shershen O.I. held a thematic lesson with students of grades 11 and 8 of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 13», dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation. During the lesson, Olga Ivanovna introduced the students to the history of the emergence and development of their native city. She paid special attention to the tragic events in the life of the city and citizens during the occupation of 1941-1944.

The thematic lesson was accompanied by a demonstration of the virtual exhibition «Baranovichi – the city in my heart», prepared on the basis of documents from the State Archives.
