Opening of the exhibition of paintings by Vladimir Prokoptsov “Under the sign of infinity”

Employees of BGAKFFD took part in the grand opening of the exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Ivanovich Prokoptsov, artist, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Belarus, Candidate of Art History, Honorary Professor of P. M. Masherov Vitebsk State University, Honorary Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts also the 25th anniversary of his work as General Director of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus. Colleagues were among the first to congratulate the artist on his anniversary and get acquainted with his work. Among the exhibited canvases, starting from the 1980s, there are paintings of various genres: landscapes, still lifes, portraits, epic canvases, as well as paintings painted during art events in Vitebsk. The exposition presents more than 35 works from the collections of the National Art Museum, the Museum of the City of Minsk, the corporate collection of Priorbank OJSC and the author’s personal collection.

The exhibition will run until September 9, 2023.
