«On the participation of employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents in a creative evening and the presentation of the book by Vladimir Orlov «Secrets of the Bohemian whirlpool»

On July 13, 2023, employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents took part in a creative evening of film director, BGAKFFD collector Vladimir Orlov and the presentation of his book «Secrets of the Bohemian whirlpool» at the State Literary and Memorial Museum of Yakub Kolos. The event was held as a continuation of the educational and museum project «Simple Words».

Vladimir Orlov is a Belarusian writer, publicist, theater and film director who has created dozens of feature and documentary films that make up the gold fund of the Belteleradiocompany. Vladimir Orlov, with whom the archive has long-term fruitful cooperation, donated to the archive a large collection of photographic and film documents illustrating the cultural life of Belarus.

During the creative evening, V. Orlov spoke about the meeting with Y. Kolos, about how the shooting took place, about his experience as a director.
