About the open-air exhibition «Memories of Nemiga»
Documents from the funds of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents are presented at an open-air photo exhibition.
At the photo exhibition «Memories of Nemiga», prepared jointly by the Museum of the History of the City of Minsk, the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents and the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, visitors are offered photographs revealing the history of Nemiga Street in Minsk, located in the heart of the capital – one of the oldest streets in the city . The photographs depict buildings and structures in various architectural styles, places of worship, the process of street transformation, the beginning of the construction of modern buildings.
Despite the fact that modern Nemiga has lost its original appearance, it has not lost its power of attraction at all and still remains one of the most noisy and famous streets where large flows of citizens cross.
The exhibition is open in the courtyard of the Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery until October 1, 2023 (Svobody Square, 15).
Free admission.
