Meeting with students of gymnasium No. 56 in Minsk at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus
On June 19, 2023, as part of the «Archives for School» action, a meeting was held in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus with students of gymnasium No. 56 in Minsk.
As part of the meeting, the children were given a tour of the archive. Head of the department of funds of personal origin Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush spoke about the history of the National Archives, about the composition and features of storing documents, the work of the archive in the field of publication and exhibition activities. During the excursion, the students got acquainted with the photo-documentary exhibition of the archive dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation: «We, Belarusians are peaceful people…», visited the archive of funds of personal origin, where they got acquainted with the documents of state and party leaders, scientists of Belarus and participants in the Great Patriotic War, and also archives of funds of partisan formations.
