Journey into the world of documents

On June 6, 2023, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign, the Year of Peace and Creation and the International Week of Archives, the Zonal State Archive in Kobrin was visited by groups of students from the «Country of Childhood» health camp of secondary school No. 9 in Kobrin.

In the course of 3 sightseeing tours of the archives and archives, schoolchildren got acquainted with the main types of work with their own eyes. We learned about the optimal conditions for storing documents. The guys reincarnated as archivists, learned to put stamps with the base on the pre-prepared sheets provided to them, which they took as a keepsake of the archive. Schoolchildren got acquainted with the exposition of archival instruments of previous decades. The students were shown poster exhibitions in the archive.
