On the participation of an employee of the NARB in the International Conference in St.Petersburg
On May 25-28, the head of the Publications Department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Candidate of Historical Sciences S.V.Kulinok took part in the International Scientific Conference «From Breaking the Siege of Leningrad to the Battle of Kursk» (on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the turning point in the Great Patriotic War), which took place in St.Petersburg (Russia).
On May 25, a round table was held on various aspects of the blockade of the Hero City of Leningrad. On May 26, a plenary session was held. Vice-Governor V.N.Knyaginin, Director of the State Memorial Museum of Defense and Siege of Leningrad E.V.Lezik addressed the participants with welcoming words.
On May 27, the head of the Publications Department, Candidate of Historical Sciences S.V.Kulinok made a presentation at the sectional meeting «Action 1005: the Nazis covered up the traces of the mass extermination of the population of Belarus». The presentation aroused interest and discussion among the conference participants.
For his great personal contribution to the organization and holding of the International Conference «Hero Cities: front and rear in the largest battles of the Great Patriotic War», which took place in 2022, S.V.Kulink was awarded a letter of thanks from the vice-governor of the city V.N.Knyaginin.
