Participation of employees of the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents» in the event «Night of Museums»

On May 18, International Museum Day, employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents attended the Night of Museums event at the Dzerzhinsk Regional Local History Museum. As part of the event, the archivists examined the photo exhibition “Dzerzhinsk Region. Years of Peace and Creation. The employees of the archive plunged with interest into the world of traditions and rituals of the Belarusian people, getting acquainted with the ritual game “Kata Pyachy”, included in the list of the intangible historical and cultural heritage of Belarus, represented by the creative team of the OKiD “Skirmantovsky House of Culture”. The atmosphere of the holiday was created by the students of the State Educational Institution “Stankovskaya Children’s Musical School of Arts”, who demonstrated musical and dance numbers. Each of the visitors was able to find something to their liking: someone got acquainted with the exposition of the museum, someone was attracted by the exhibition “Palette of the Soul”, and someone became interested in the interactive platform.
