Participation of the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents» in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Topical Issues of Preservation and Access to Audiovisual Documents of the National Archival Fund” as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the CSA KFDZ
On May 18, Almaty hosts the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Topical Issues of Preservation and Access to Audiovisual Documents of the National Archival Fund” as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Central State Archive of Film, Photo Documents and Sound Recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Director of BGAKFFD Andrey Nikolaevich Gonchar takes part in the events. In his address at the plenary session, A.N. Gonchar stressed that the institutions “Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents” and “Central State Archive of Film and Photo Documents and Sound Recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan” have been linked by many years of cooperation and professional relations.
Also A.N. Gonchar made a presentation “From the experience of the establishment “Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents” in ensuring the safety of audiovisual documents”, in which he paid special attention to the experience in the field of automation and digitization of audiovisual documents.
