Conducting consultations for citizens in the State Archive of the Grodno Region, as well as a sightseeing tour as part of the republican campaign «My family is my country»

On May 15, 2023, as part of the republican campaign “My family is my country”, timed to coincide with Family Day, in the State Archives of the Grodno Region in order to draw society’s attention to the family as the most important social institute, raising children and youth in the system of traditional values and preserving the historical memory of the Belarusian people, consultations were held by telephone and personal reception of citizens on the location of archival documents necessary to resolve social issues (confirmation of seniority, wages, property information ), as well as on the search for documents with biographical and genealogical information. A sightseeing tour was held on the composition and content of the documents of the archive, as well as on the specifics of the work of an archival institution for new employees and members of their families. The visitors of the reading room were told about the peculiarities of conducting genealogical research, about the possibilities for searching for biographical information on the documents of the State Archives of the Grodno Region.
