About holding a meeting of the labor team on the eve of the Day of the State Flag, State coat of arms and State anthem of the Republic of Belarus

On May 13, 2023, on the eve of the Day of the State Flag, State Coat of Arms and State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus, a solemn meeting of the labor team of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus was held. A special celebration and mood was given by the joint performance of the National Anthem by the employees of the archive.

The deputy director of the archive E.A.Stukanova gave a welcoming speech to the archivists, who spoke about the historical origins of the creation of state symbols in our country, as well as the role of archivists in preserving historical memory and truth in creating the main attributes of the country.

E.A.Stukanova informed those present at the meeting that the day before, in the assembly hall of the State Committee of Forensic Examinations of the Republic of Belarus, a solemn event was held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, the State Committee of Forensic Examinations of the Republic of Belarus, cadets of the Minsk City Cadet School, students of the Military-Patriotic class of borderline orientation of secondary school No. 206 of Minsk. Employees of the National Archives took part in the event. In the lobby of the hall, the exhibitions «About State Symbols of Belarus» and «Heraldry of Modern Belarus», prepared by the National Archives, were displayed.

The deputy director of the archive, E.V.Kushnova, noted in her speech that the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated July 5, 2004 «On State Symbols of the Republic of Belarus» defined the description and procedure for the use of state symbols of the Republic of Belarus, and also noted that the citizens of our country should treat carefully refers to the state symbols – the State flag, the State coat of arms and the State anthem.
