On holding a solemn event dedicated to the Day of the State Flag, the State Emblem and the State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus
As part of the implementation by the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus of the Open Film Archive pilot project, on May 12, 2023, a solemn event dedicated to the Day of the State Flag, the State coat of arms and the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus.
The solemn event took place in the assembly hall of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus at the address: Minsk, st. Volodarsky, 2a with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, the State Committee for Forensic Examinations of the Republic of Belarus, cadets of the Minsk City Cadet School, students of the military-patriotic class of the border school No. 206 in Minsk. The exhibitions «On State Symbols of Belarus» and «Heraldry of Modern Belarus» prepared by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus were shown in the lobby of the hall.

As part of the solemn event, a film lecture about the state symbols of Belarus was held, during which lectures were given by:
– Leading referent of the department of organizational work, information and use of documents of the Department for archives and records management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, secretary of the Heraldic Council under the President of the Republic of Belarus, candidate of historical sciences Elinskaya M.M. «On the history of the State symbols of the Republic Belarus»;
– Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Educational Institution «Belarusian State Academy of Music», Associate Professor Sazanovich N.V. «On the history of the creation of the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus».
As part of the film lecture, those present at the solemn event were shown a special report «Symbols of the People» stored in the funds of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents.
