On May 5, 2023, a solemn meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the archive was held in the reading room of the institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region».

The solemn event was opened by the deputy director of the archive A.P. Mitskevich, who congratulated the employees present at the meeting on the anniversary.

«All of us are united by love for our work and a great contribution to the preservation of the historical heritage of Belarus,» said Andrei Petrovich.

In his congratulatory speech, he thanked the staff of the archive for their well-coordinated, fruitful work and wished them further success in their work.

The head of the Department of Information, Publication and Use of Documents Alexandrovich Z.A. also joined the warm words of gratitude and congratulations, once again congratulating the employees on the anniversary, she told the staff of the state archive in detail about the history of its creation and development.

The archivists shared their memories of the years of work in the archive. Also, during the meeting, a presentation was shown with photographs of the archive staff in different years.

The solemn event ended with competitions and performances of the regional archive workers and was held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
