Victory Day is always a special holiday for Belarusians. The Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) swept through like a fiery whirlwind, sweeping away everything in its path. Four years of occupation by the Nazi invaders of our land became an unhealed wound for the Belarusian people. Therefore, May 9 is always the brightest and most joyful holiday for us.

Employees of the State Archives of the Vitebsk region met this day among those who went to the festive procession in honor of the Great Victory Day.
