«Victory Day»

On May 5, 2023, students of the 8th «B» class of the Kobrin Gymnasium visited the Zonal State Archive in Kobrin as part of the «Archives – School» action and the Year of Peace and Creation, on the eve of Victory Day.

A lesson dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held for schoolchildren.

Head of department Natalya Halyuk told about the history of the holiday and events dedicated to Victory Day. The children were also shown a panel exhibition of documents «Without a statute of limitations» about the genocide of the peaceful population of the Kobrin and former Divinsky districts during the Great Patriotic War.

As part of the event, an overview tour of the archive was held, which traditionally included a short excursion into the history and information about the main activities of the archive, a visit to the archive.
