Honoring the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Fedor Ivanovich Krivonogov by the staff of the State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region
As part of the events dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, on May 3, employees of the State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region visited our founder, Fyodor Ivanovich Krivonogov Veteran of the Great Patriotic War. During the war, Fedor Ivanovich served as a gunner-radio operator in the crew of the Il-4 long-range bomber, bombed Berlin and Koenigsberg, and was shot down twice. During his life, he collected many awards: medals “For the victory over Germany”, «For the capture of Koenigsberg», «For the capture of Berlin», «For military merit», the Order of the Great Patriotic War II degree. There are also peaceful awards – two orders of the «Badge of Honor» and a medal «For the development of virgin lands.»
