The event on the basis of State Public Enterprise «Secondary School No. 14 of Vitebsk»

On April 27, 2023, an event on the topic: «Pride for Belarus. Culture of the Belarusian people: traditions, heritage, modernity» (material and spiritual historical and cultural heritage, professional and folk art, public creative initiatives, etc.) was organized as part of the informational and educational project «SAС» – «School of the Active Citizen» on the basis of «Secondary School No. 14 of Vitebsk».

As a special guest, a representative of the State Archive of the Vitebsk region was invited with a report on the topic «Protection of historical and cultural heritage at the national level». Those present got acquainted with the concept of cultural heritage in the theory and practice of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

Special attention was paid to the illumination of objects of documentary monuments as material historical and cultural value. In the format of an electronic presentation, students got acquainted with materials about one of the outstanding Belarusian historians and local historians of the last quarter of the 19th – the first quarter of the 20th centuries.
