About conducting a lesson for students of the state educational institution «Glubokoe district gymnasium»

On April 21, 2023, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, the State Archives in the city of Glubokoe were visited by students of class 7 «B» of the state educational institution «Glubokoe District Gymnasium». The visit began with a sightseeing tour of the archive, during which the children learned about the history of the establishment, the main activities, the composition of the funds, and the conditions for storing documents.

After the tour, the students were given a lesson on the topic «Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War in Glubotchyna». The head of the department for the use and publication of documents, T.N.Avlasova, spoke about archival documents that testify to the atrocities committed by the Nazi invaders in the territory of the Glubokoe region.
