On conducting classes for persons driving personal vehicles

The National Historical Archives of Belarus, together with the Belarusian Research Institute of Documentation and Archives, organized a lesson for people driving personal vehicles.

The lesson was held by the deputy head of the traffic police department of the Central District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk, police lieutenant colonel Valery Nikolayevich Rogovsky.

In his speech, he noted that the interests of road safety, the protection of the life and health of citizens, the protection of their rights and legitimate interests are the main priorities of road traffic in the Republic of Belarus. It is for these purposes that licensing regimes are established in the field of road safety to prevent road traffic accidents (RTA) and reduce the severity of their consequences.

V.N.Rogovsky gave examples and gave an assessment of various situations related to the violation of traffic safety rules. At the end of his speech, he answered questions from employees who drive personal vehicles.

The archive workers, in turn, showed Valery Nikolayevich pre-revolutionary documents, which fixed the first norms for motorists, contained information about motor races, indicated the names of the brands of cars existing at that time, etc.
