Visit of the employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation to the Museum of the Bible

As the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G.Lukashenko noted on March 31, 2023, addressing the annual Address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, «the Belarusian nation was formed at the junction of Western and Eastern Slavic civilizations, on the basis of Christianity, but with the overwhelming advantage of Orthodoxy. It was the confessional choice made by our ancestors over a thousand years ago that determined the cultural code of the Belarusians and our mentality».

Therefore, one of the most important conditions for building the future of our country is the preservation of traditional Christian values.

As part of the events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation visited the Museum of the Bible, located at the Theological Faculty of the Belarusian State University in 2011. Among its exhibits are Bibles from previous years, Bibles in different languages, as well as ceramics, books, photographs and coins related to biblical themes.

During the visit to the Museum, preliminary agreements were reached on joint cooperation between the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation» and the theological faculty of the Belarusian State University.
