Conducting a lesson for students as part of the «Archives for School» campaign

On April 10, 2023, within the framework of the «Archives to School» campaign, the State Archives of the Grodno Region institution held a lesson for 8th grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 16 in Grodno» on the topic «Military history of the city of Grodno during the Nazi occupation».

During the lesson, students were shown unique documents: cards of prisoners of war who were in German camps, work certificates of citizens sent to work in Germany, certificates of prisoners of the ghetto, questionnaires of workers, notices of conscription and many other documents.

The students were given a tour of the archive, during which they visited the archives and laboratories for the restoration, binding and repair of documents.
