Opening of the exhibition «Khatyn – a shrine of national memory» in the Administration of the Moskovsky district of Minsk

On April 5, 2023, the documentary exhibition «Khatyn – a shrine of national memory» was opened in the Administration of the Moskovsky district of Minsk, prepared by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents and the State Archive of the Minsk Region, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the tragedy of the Belarusian village of Khatyn, burned together with the inhabitants of the fascist invaders on March 22, 1943.

As part of the presentation of the exhibition, the head of the department of funds of personal origin, Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush, spoke about the composition of the documents presented at the exhibition, which included the administrative documents of the occupation authorities and their accomplices for the destruction of Khatyn and its civilian population, reports, acts, lists of victims, trials, testimonials, photographs and more.

Vladimir Ivanovich Kozlovsky, manager of the administration of the Moskovsky district, expressed gratitude to the employees of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus for the opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibition to the employees of the administration and residents of the Moskovsky district.
