On March 3, 2023, in the Year of Peace and Creation, on the basis of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School 75 in Gomel», a round table «Connection of generations. Patriotic ideals of modern youth».

The experts in the discussion were: director of the institution «State archive of the Gomel region» Sushchevich A.N.; Chairman of the Novobelitsk regional organization of the NGO «Belaya Rus» Tkach L.A.; cleric of the Church of the Georgian Icon of the Mother of God in Gomel, Priest Nikolai Barsukov; representative of the parent community Ravlushkevich T.P.
The purpose of the event is the exchange of experience in the education of citizenship and patriotism of students.

What does it mean to be a patriot, what is patriotism and how does the current generation understand it, how important is it to love, protect and protect your Motherland, how many patriots are there today among modern youth – these and many other questions were discussed today at the round table.

In an open dialogue, the experts expressed their competent opinion on the above topic, exchanged experience in working with young people.

All participants of the event agreed that such a format of the meeting allows for a constructive dialogue with young people, raising really topical issues, and makes it possible to hear each other.
