The zonal state Archive in Kobrin as part of the Archives – School campaign was visited by students of the Belskaya Basic School of the Kobrin district

On February 21, 2023, the Zonal State Archive in Kobrin was visited by students of the Belskaya Basic School of the Kobrin district as part of the Archives – School campaign and the Year of Peace and Creation. A sightseeing tour of the archive was conducted for the children with a visit to the archive, during which they got acquainted with the conditions for storing documents, their composition and content.

The children were shown particularly valuable documents. Employees of the state archive introduced the children to all the features of storing and using these documents.

The children also attended a master class, during which a specialist of the state archive showed how documents are archived before being received for permanent storage.

The staff of the state archive familiarized the students with Internet resources that can be used to search for information about archives and documents stored in them.
