On the basis of the Rechitsa State Archives, an excursion was held for students of secondary school N. 7 in Rechitsa

On January 25, as part of the “Archives for School” campaign, students of grade 9 “A” of the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 7” visited the Zonal State Archive in the city of Rechitsa.

Traditionally, an informative tour of the archive was held for young guests. Leading archeographer of the Department of Information and Use of Documents Sergey Zharnosenko, archivist of the Department of Preservation and State Registration of Documents Anastasia Kmets, and employees of the Department for Working with Archives of Organizations, Acquisition and Paperwork Irina Komar and Galina Zhandarova showed the students around their departments, the archives and the reading room. The young people got acquainted in general terms with the specifics of the work and the documents kept, learned about the history and activities of the ZCA in the city of Rechitsa, which will turn 60 this year.
