Virtual exhibition «Сяброўскі шарж»

On the occasion of the Year of Historical Memory and the 100th Anniversary of the Archival Service of Belarus, a virtual exhibition «Сяброўскі шарж» has been posted on the website of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art.

Caricature – an artist’s view of a person’s appearance, its characteristic features, a portrait in a humorous form. Unlike a caricature, a cartoon does not ridicule shortcomings, it is good-natured and causes a smile. In caricatures of writers, artists sharpen the features of appearance, personality and creativity.

We bring to your attention a collection of caricatures of Belarusian writers from the funds of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art.
