The State Archives of the Minsk region presented a banner exhibition at the dialogue platforms

On December 7, 2022, in the lobby of the assembly hall of MGLU, and on December 8, 2022, dialogue platforms on the topic «Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War were held at the Minsk Motor Plant. Tragedy and Memory».

The open dialogue was organized by the administration of the Partizan district of Minsk within the framework of the city project «Remember everything. Remember everyone». The speakers were the director of the Scientific and Practical Center for Law and Order Strengthening of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Moroz, the assistant prosecutor of the Partizan district of Minsk, Irina Yaglenko, the archpriest, the abbot of the St. George Parish, Mikhail Strekha, the chairman of the Republican Creative Public Association «Promotion of Youth», Andrey Mehedko. The platform was moderated by Nadezhda Apanovich, chief specialist of the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the Partizan district administration.

For the participants of the event, the State Archive of the Minsk Region presented a historical and documentary banner exhibition «Genocide of the Peaceful Population in the Territory of the Minsk Region during the Great Patriotic War. 1941-1945». Kristina Bobrovich, an employee of the document utilization and publication department of the state archive, spoke about the documents presented at the exhibition, which testify to the inhumane crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices, committed against the civilian population, who experienced all the hardships and horrors of the occupation regime.
