On vacation – to the archive!
On November 3, 2022, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the Zonal State Archive in Kobrin was visited by two groups of students from the school camp of the gymnasium in Kobrin.
Sightseeing tours were held for the children, during which they visited archives No. 2, got acquainted with the conditions for storing documents, their composition and content. Also, the students visited the documentary exhibitions «Post-war restoration of Kobrin and Divinsky districts in 1944-1953.» and «City streets: long, short, narrow, wide…».
The staff of the archive held a master class “Young Archivist”, during which schoolchildren learned how documents go through full archival processing before being sent for permanent storage.
