The State Archives of the Minsk Region, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, presented a historical and documentary banner exhibition at the Minsk State Energy College

As part of the Year of Historical Memory and the Archives for School project, the State Archives of the Minsk Region continues to acquaint students of educational institutions in Minsk and the Minsk region with the historical and documentary banner exhibition «Genocide of civilians in the Minsk region during the Great Patriotic War».

On October 21, 2022, the archive staff met with students of the Minsk State Power Engineering College. The audience was presented with a historical and documentary banner exhibition, as well as a presentation about the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Nazi occupation.

Employees of the Department for the Use and Publication of Documents of the State Archive of the Minsk Region told the children about the documents presented at the exhibition, about the atrocities of the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War, and about how important it is to keep the memory of the genocide alive.

During the event, students had an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with archival documents, the most important evidence of true historical facts.
