Participation of the Director of State Institution «NIAB in Grodno» Afanasyeva T.Yu. in the work of the dialogue platform «Archives: from the past to the present», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the archival service of Belarus

October 14, 2022 Director of the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno Afanasyeva T.Yu. took part in the work of the dialogue platform «Archives: from the past to the present», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the archival service of Belarus. On the occasion of a significant date in Grodno, a solemn event was held in the Tyzengauz Gallery, organized by the Main Department of Justice of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

The guests of the dialogue platform were the Chairman of the Grodno Regional Council of Deputies Pasyuta E.V., Deputy Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Tsvetkov A.E., Deputy Prosecutor of Grodno Sedach A.V., Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper «Grodzenskaya Pravda» Novitskaya L.Ch., Deputy Chairman of the Regional Organization of the Regional Public Organization «Belaya Rus» Varyanitsa S.V., Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Lecturer of the Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala Yarmusik E.S., as well as directors and employees of the archival institutions of the region, students – historians of Y. Kupala State University.

One of the key moments of the event was the ceremony of presenting a message from the archivists of the Grodno region to students of history of the Y. Kupala State University.
