The State Archives of Minsk Region took part in the dialogue platform «The Feat is Immortal. The Memory is Sacred»

On 20 June 2022, a dialogue platform «The Feat is Immortal. The Memory is Sacred», dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide took place on the basis of the «Minskvodokanal» enterprise.

The participants of the thematic meeting were representatives of the ideological activists of enterprises, institutions and organizations of the Partyzansky District of Minsk.

The speakers at the event were Nikolai Shchekin, Head of the Department of Social and Public Administration of the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus; Yulia Romashko, Director of the State Archives of Minsk Region; Alexander Brazhitsky, Deputy Commander of Military Unit 3214, curator of the military patriotic club “Rys” and Lyudmila Filippovich, Deputy Head of the Administration of Partyzansky District of Minsk.

During the dialogue platform the participants discussed the preservation of historical memory, the heroic past of our people, the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War, patriotic education, and discussed new forms of work with young people. Yulia Romashko showed documents and a multimedia presentation on the topic «The Genocide of the Population of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War. 1941-1945», which left no one indifferent.
