The Belarusian Research Institute of Records Management and Archival Studies holds a workshop “Compilation and Execution of File Plans in Institutions, Model and Standard File Plans”

On 12 May 2022 the Belarusian Research Institute of Records Management and Archival Studies and Archives (BelNIIDAD) holds a one-day workshop on the topic:

The issues on the agenda:
• Requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus for creation of file plans in institutions
• Regulatory, methodological and informational basis for creation of file plans
• Purpose, types and functions of file plans
• Preparatory work for creation of file plans in institutions
• The procedure for compiling, coordinating, signing and approving the file plan in a structural subdivision and the file plan in an institution
• Schemes (principles) of file plans in institutions
• Formation and classification of file titles in file plans
• Specifics of including electronic records in file plans
• Rules for file indexes
• File retention scheduling. Records subject to tax audit in file plans
• Purpose, procedure and specifics of compiling and executing model and standard file plans

The classes are conducted by BelNIIDAD Director A. E. Rybakov, lecturers E. V. Shumskaya and E. P. Dernovich, who are the authors of normative acts, training and procedural manuals on records management and archival business.
