The exhibition of awards “For Service to the Country and the People” was visited by members of the Board of the Department for Archives and Records Management

On 1 April 2022, a meeting of the Board of the Department for Archives and Records Management was held at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.

The participants of the meeting visited the exhibition of awards “For Service to the Country and People” prepared by the Department for Archives and Records Management. The exhibition presents about 200 medals, breastplates and insignia of ministries, departments, state bodies and organizations of the Republic of Belarus.

M. M. Elinskaya, leading adviser of the organizational work, information and documents use department, secretary of the Heraldic Council under the President of the Republic of Belarus, candidate of historical sciences spoke in detail about the structure of the exhibition and the exhibits on display, the functions and tasks of the Heraldic Council and answered questions from the board members concerning the origin and development of the heraldic symbols.
