The State Archives of Grodno Region held a lecture “No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten” for students of Secondary School № 28 in Grodno

On February 25, 2022, in the framework of the Archives for School campaign, the State Archives of Grodno Region held a lecture “No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten” for 7th and 8th grade students of Grodno secondary school No 28. During the lecture, the students got acquainted with the documents that tell about the crimes committed by the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War and reveal the essence, nature and consequences of the Occupation regime. The Archive employees introduced the Internet projects “Saxon memorials”, “Letters of Victory”, “Crimes of Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”, in which the Archive participated, and told about the possibility of finding information on these Internet sites.

There was also a guided tour of the Archive, during which the students learned about the main archive activities and visited the archive repository.
