The BGAKFFD photo exhibition on the 100th anniversary of the film director Alexander Karpov at the Tsentralny Cinema in Minsk

In January 2022 the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings (BGAKFFD) begins a series of photo exhibitions “Behind the Scenes”, aimed at showing everything that remains hidden from the viewer during the work of the film crew.

The first photo exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of the film director, honoured worker of arts of Belarus, Alexander Karpov, will take place at the Tsentralny Cinema in Minsk from 13 to 26 January.

During the exhibition, the general public will be able to see photographs created during the work on the films “Tomorrow is Too Late…” (1972) and “Personal Accounts” (1982).
