The State Archives of Gomel Region held an event on the epidemiological situation and health protection in the country

On September 30, 2021, an event on the epidemiological situation and health protection in the country was held at the State Archives of Gomel Region. At the invitation of the Director of Archives A.N. Sushchevich, the event was attended by the Head of the Public Health Department of the Gomel City Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology Anastasiya Stepankova, who spoke about the importance of vaccination against coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The lecturer explained in detail the main aspects of vaccination, including answering questions from the archive staff, such as: “Can you forget the risk of infection by getting the coronavirus vaccine? What kind of immunity do the new vaccines build? Are there any contraindications? Is it obligatory to administer two doses of the drug? What vaccines are used? Where can I make an appointment to get vaccinated against COVID-19, Do those who have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 need a vaccination? How long does the immunity last”, etc.

The Director of Archives noted at the end that the good health of the employees is the main goal of the event. And for this, it is necessary to follow the basic and important rules, get vaccinated, strengthen immunity, wear masks and gloves, and respect social distance.
