The National Historical Archives of Belarus received digital copies of the metric books of marriages and divorces of the Minsk Jewish Society for 1912-1919

As part of the Agreement on the exchange of digital copies of documents, the National Historical Archives of Belarus received from the Central Archives for the History of the Jewish People (Jerusalem, Israel) digital copies of the metric books of marriages and divorces of the Minsk Jewish Society for 1912-1919.

These documents are of great interest for studying the population history of Minsk in the early twentieth century. Digital copies of the metric books will be available to researchers in the reading room of the Archives after the resumption of planned work. The receipt of these copies is a continuation of the exchange of digital copies between archival institutions in the Republic of Belarus and foreign archives.
