The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus presents new collections of published documents in the book series “Archives. History. Memory”: “Partisans in Operation Bagration” and “Khatyn Necropolis”.

![]() The book contains certificates, acts, reports, transcripts of interrogation, recollections by witnesses and surviving residents from burned villages and other documents identified at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, the Central Archives of Belarus KGB (Committee for State Security) and the State Archives of the Russian Federation. In all, the book includes 181 documents. A number of materials have been taken from the series of documented chronicles of Belarusian towns and districts “Memory”. Also included are photos from the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, the personal archives of local specialist A.F. Bublo etc. The book was prepared as part of the Project “Raising the Status of Surviving Residents from Burned Villages in Belarus” and was published with the assistance of the Russian Historical Memory Foundation for Assistance to Topical Historical Research. |
