Museum of History of Belarusian Cinema held a retrospective show of BGAKFFD films on 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from Nazi occupation

On 12 June 2014 the Museum of the History of Belarusian Cinema together with the Fellowship of Business and Professional Women held a retrospective show of the films from the holdings of the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders.

The programme “On the Roads of War” included films “The Liberation of Soviet Belarus” (1944) and “Atrocities committed by Nazis in the Belarusian SSR in the Great Patriotic War” (1945).

A musical collective from the Frunze-district Social Center in Minsk gave a concert of wartime songs.
