BelNIIDAD issued three new publications

Belarusian Research Institute of Records Management and Archival Studies (BelNIIDAD) issued three new publications: Methodical Recommendations for creation and use of file plans in organizations, standard and agency-specific file plans, Methodical Recommendations for creation of file folders 2013, and Belarusian Archaeography Annual Issue 14.

The Methodical Recommendations cover the issues related to the creation and use of file classification plans in institutions, standard and agency-specific file plans. On the basis of examples, the guidance defines and explains requirements for file plans contents and organization, the procedure for their creation and confirmation.
The Methodical Recommendations discuss the issues of organizing file folders from the time of their creation in institution until their transfer to the archive. The Recommendations are supplied with a big number of examples and appendixes.
The Belarusian Archaeography Annual Issue 14 provides material on archival science, historical editing, source analysis, codex and text science, and the history of government institutions. The book contains documents on the medieval, new and contemporary history of Belarus, reviews of archival holdings, and other materials. This is designed for archivists, historians, local specialists and philologists.
